An epic exterior home makeover for this historical old stone house in Pickering, ON. After being unoccupied & neglected for years, the team at Highbush helped turn this old house into a new home. Our main challenge was to create a comfortable outdoor living space for modern day use, while also preserving the integrity of the home's 19th century heritage.  Combining traditional design with modern construction techniques, our team installed new random flagstone patios and  pathways, natural stone steps & walls, gardens as well as new custom  pergolas and arbors, white picket fences and gates. We put new pine board & batten siding on the house, and built a new "she-shed" to match.  Thoughtfully planned with great reverence for the original  craftsmanship, using only locally sourced stone and lumber finishes.
